Our purpose built centre sprawls over 4½ acres and is fit to bust with creatures from all over the planet.

Here you won’t simply see animals; you can feed, touch and even talk to them. Many of our inhabitants are tame and very friendly– they are not exhibits, they’re your friends!

Get up-close and personal with lots of free-roaming creatures - from amazing leaf-cutter ants and exotic butterflies to goats, ducks and peacocks.

Our residents love putting on a show; from bird of prey displays to chattering parrots and agility demonstrations by a gymnastic goat, our animals are natural show-offs. Percy the Peacock will display to anyone he can find!

With so many animals to feed, mealtimes are a round-the-clock operation! Why not help out by feeding marmoset monkeys, lorikeets, calves, goats, squirrels and even our resident jackdaw.

Handle exotic snakes, millipedes, lizards and magnificent birds of prey. Groom our rabbits, milk the goats and race our ferrets – they love playing ferret roulette and so will you!

Tropical House and Nocturnal House
Step into the Tropical House and Nocturnal House to find ducks wandering between your feet, free flying birds and exotic butterflies. Watch regiments of leaf cutter ants marching above your head carrying their super-sized loads.

Admire Darwin, the alligator as he basks by his private pool. Peer into the world of creepy-crawlies from across the planet – chameleons and caterpillars, beetles and bugs, stick insects, snakes and glow-in-the-dark scorpions. Be amazed by giant African land snails – why not pick your own to take home?

Meet Pinky and Perky, our pygmy hedgehogs, born in spring 2007. Listen for the giant katydids, admire our praying mantis and keep an eye out for free-roaming iguanas.

Ranch
Outside, stroll through the ranch, home to our free-roaming kid goats, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and turkeys. Bumble, our skunk, hangs out here too (cover your nose cos he really pongs!).

Bird of Prey Centre
The Bird of Prey Centre is home to numerous owls, falcons and Ebony and Flint, our Harris Hawks. You can see all of them at rest in the centre and in flight during one of our Bird of Prey displays.

Walk on the Wild-side
From here you can wander through our Walk on the Wild-side, a natural habitat for plants, animals, birds and mini-beasts. Use the binoculars in the bird hide to spot kestrels, woodpeckers, stoats and squirrels. You’ll also meet Jack, our naughty jackdaw and see honey bees at work in their hive.

Baby Bunkhouse
In the Baby Bunkhouse you’ll find chicks, ducklings and quails, often just a few days old. Some of our rabbits and guinea pigs live here too.

Patio and Garden
Our Patio and Garden is a delightful area to sip tea, enjoy a cake or tuck into a range of fresh hot and cold meals. Children love chilling out in our hammocks, digging in the sandpit and taking to the steering wheel in one of our pedal cars.

Family Fun House
Our indoor activity centre has interactive games, a range of crafts and puzzles for little ones plus table footie, pool, air hockey and more to keep older kids happy too.

Courtyard
On weekends and during school holidays, kids can a ride aboard a tractor-trailer while parents relax in the courtyard with a coffee and light refreshments.
